Hannah Kobayashi, the 30-year-old Hawaii woman who has been missing for over three weeks in a bizarre case that has drawn national attention and perplexed investigators, was seen in video surveillance footage entering Mexico with luggage, the Los Angeles Police Department announced late Monday.

Footage from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, reviewed by investigators Sunday, showed Kobayashi crossing the U.S.-Mexico border alone and on foot, the LAPD said.
