Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.), President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming national security adviser, said Monday that he was not briefed ahead of time on the Biden administration’s decision to allow Ukraine’s use of long-range U.S. weapons inside Russia.

“It’s another step up the escalation ladder, and nobody knows where this is going,” Waltz said during a “Fox & Friends” interview. “President Trump is talking grand strategy here: How do we get both sides to the table to end this war, what’s the framework for a deal and who is sitting at that table?”
