As President-elect Donald Trump names his Cabinet nominees, the 2024 election might seem to be in the rear-view mirror. In California, however, it is far from over. Republicans are on track to retain control of the House of Representatives by a narrow margin. But the size of their majority will come down to a handful of uncalled races, including two in California for which counting might not conclude until a month after Election Day.
