Washington, D.C., is a beautiful city with impressive monuments, diverse architecture, large open spaces and scenic bodies of water such as the Tidal Basin that add to the charm. But when the city gets blanketed by snow, the landscape transforms and becomes truly magical.

Numerous landmarks and parks are located near D.C., including Great Falls, Arlington National Cemetery, the Marine Corps War Memorial and the Manassas National Battlefield Park. They transform into winter wonderlands during a snowstorm.
