Justine McDaniel is a general assignment reporter who covers national news. Previously, she spent eight years as a news reporter at the Philadelphia Inquirer, where she covered the pandemic, breaking news, environmental contamination and state and local politics and policy. She was a 2014 reporting fellow for News21, part of the Carnegie-Knight Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education. A California native, she joined The Post in 2022.
