“Moana 2” will surely be saying “you’re welcome” to the movie theater industry as the animated Disney sequel helped set an all-time box office record for the Thanksgiving holiday week.

The “Moana” sequel, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Auli‘i Cravalho as voice actors, finished the weekend with $221 million in domestic earnings — topping the U.S. box office for the five-day holiday week, according to the Walt Disney Company. The film also had the highest three-day Thanksgiving opening weekend ever at the box office, surpassing the $94 million earned by “Frozen” upon its release in 2013, the company said.
